Happy Fourth of July!
We love the Fourth of July! We love the smell of fireworks, hotdogs on the barbeque and burnt marshmallows. To us the Fourth of July is really the start of summer.
Recently Sophie of the Planners Fete asked us to do a table design for the Brass Bear Brewing event and since Fourth of July was just around the corner, we jumped at the chance to dust off all of our red, white and blue décor! We used our Ralph Lauren plaid plates, our red cut glassware from Pottery Barn and vintage lace plates we collected over the years. We also styled an invitation suite designed by the talented Tracy of Lazaro Press and got to use some of the stamps from our vintage stamp collection.
Brass Bear Brewing filled the glasses with champagne and a delicious ale to give the photos depth and texture. They of course have tons of options on tap and as we later discovered our new favorite cider- Passion fruit by Rekorderlig. Brass Bear Brewing is one of the few places in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone that has their own kitchen, so the treated us to a lovely lunch as we chatted about oh so secret event industry topics (just kidding- Sophie of Planners Fete always has great topics for planners and industry professionals to discuss, so we can bring you the latest and greatest offerings out there and grow professionally as a group).
